Do I Qualify?
Women who are healthy, in good medical condition, and who do not smoke can be considered for breast augmentation surgery. The majority of women who have this surgery do so because they are not satisfied with the current shape and size of their breasts. During the initial consultation, we will discuss requirements for surgery and determine what is necessary and/or realistic for your preferred goals. Suitable candidates for augmentation are women who exhibit disproportional breast size for their body shape, uneven breasts or asymmetry, a loss of firmness or breast tissue due to genetics, childbirth, and/or weight loss, and those who simply want a larger breast size. It is important to note that women who have sagging or drooping breasts may not be good candidates for this surgery; a breast lift or breast lift with augmentation is often better in these situations.

I would highly recommend Dr. Suzman to anyone. I have always wanted to do a breast lift, but was very nervous. Dr. Suzman was extremely thoughtful about the procedure, calming and not pushy at all. The outpatient facility was excellent with top nurses and anesthesiologists. What to Expect
Dr. Suzman provides three types of implants for breast augmentation surgery and also offers fat transfer surgery for select cases. During your consultation, he will work with you to determine the best option based on your size, shape, and individual expectations. Saline Implants
Saline implants are filled with saltwater during the surgery, allowing doctors to make adjustments as needed. These implants tend to feel firmer compared to silicone implants and are recommended for patients who have enough natural breast tissue to minimize the visibility of rippling.
Silicone Implants
Silicone implants are pre-filled, which means there is no option for adjustments during surgery. They often provide a more natural appearance and feel, making them a suitable choice for women with minimal breast tissue. We offer silicone gel implants from the three major brands: Motiva, Allergan, and Mentor.
Fat Transfer
For patients who prefer not to have implants but still wish for fuller breasts, an autologous fat transfer may be a suitable option. This procedure involves removing fat from one part of the body through liposuction and then carefully transferring the extracted fat, layer by layer, into the breasts until the desired shape and size are achieved.
Breast augmentation surgery uses general anesthesia and usually takes less than two hours. After the surgery, nurses will wrap the patient in a sterile dressing and provide support with a medical sports bra. In the days after surgery, patients might feel sore and swollen, but they will notice the changes right away. It’s important to rest for a few days, and most people can return to work in about three to five days. Patients should avoid exercise for about four to six weeks to give their breasts time to heal. It takes about four to six months for the breasts to settle into their final shape. During this time, swelling and bruising will go down, and full sensitivity should return.
