Dysport injections can be conveniently administered in our office, often on the same day as your consultation, and the entire process typically takes about 30 to 60 minutes. Using an ultra-fine syringe, the doctor will inject Dysport into the pre-marked areas. Most patients report minimal discomfort following the initial needle prick, but a numbing cream can be applied to enhance comfort during the procedure. After the treatment, you may experience some mild redness and swelling, which usually subsides within a few hours. Applying a cold compress can help alleviate these side effects.
Other Considerations
Dysport typically lasts longer and diffuses more effectively from the injection site compared to other wrinkle relaxers on the market, making it particularly ideal for treating the delicate areas around the eyes, commonly referred to as “crow’s feet.” While you may notice some immediate results, the final outcome will become evident a few days after your treatment.
